- MAY: Trees are clothedwith foliage.In Mugal gardens fountains play.Flower beds presents beautiful sights of flowers.In the Lakes Shikaras look exotic.
- JUNE: Surf-riding boating and swimming are common activities.This is a month of strawberry,cheery and apricot.Trees of all variety look beautiful in green foliage.
- JULY: This is the month of the outdoor open air life.Water lilies,lotus appears charming.
- AUGUST: Thousands of Hindu pligrims from all over india visit the celebrated cave of Shri Amar Nath Ji.The route passes through picturesque pine forest and great meadows of pahalgam.
- SEPTEMBER: In the village,farmers start harvesting paddy.Orchids are full of colours.Delicious and sappy fruits are ready.The shooting season for small and big game begins from September.
- OCTOBER: Autumn season sets in.
- NOVEMBER: The chinar trees look as if they have caught fire (Atish chinar) mornings,evenings and night time has a light cold in the air and days have pleasant warmth.
- DECEMBER: Advent of winter takes place.
